Kenya 1995 a small village in the "Samburu" land, having lunch in a small Restaurant. a few tables scattered around. The local people are eating, no one speaks English. Seems like we are the only "Mzungu" in the village.
Then a local guy with a Rastafarian hat that sits in the next table start to speak English with us. We were so excited and curious to find a local that was willing and able to conversate we us. towards the end of the conversation he told us that he is getting married tomorrow and asked us if we want to participate. We of course were so excited and said yes. It is one of the most desired and rare events that anyone who travel though the Sumburu tribe would liked to participate in. I asked if I can take photo's?. And James replied yes. The next day we were participating in once in a life time event. Thank you James for letting us take a part of your celebration. At first the participants did not like that I had a camera and also a video camera, but when I explain that I have James's consent. They were accepting. Need i to say what an experience it was spending a day in a life of a Samburu tribes wedding. As i was filming them they would gather around and we viewing the screen seeing themselves we had so much fun.
In the this picture James is wearing his trible wear on the day of his wedding
